It’s everyone’s desire to own their dream home and live happily ever after. My husband and I have been living in an apartment since we moved to Bangalore. I believe that my dream home will be an articulation of my sense of personal identity and would reflect my personal taste and aesthetics. Lighting makes a lot of difference hence I would want my home to have designer light fixtures which will add elegance to the rooms. Bedroom
I would like to have a bedroom which is spacious, airy, and bright. It should also have rich hardwood flooring and an attached balcony. Since I love being close to nature, a cozy and serene sit out area is a must have.
I would like a villa as it provides a greater degree of freedom and privacy. Also, my choice of Villa should have a beautiful well maintained private garden where my husband and I can sit in the morning, have tea, soak in the morning rays of the sun, and enjoy the cool breeze. I also dream of a private terrace with a garden. Also, there should be tall trees surrounding the property and green gardens and walkways inside the campus where we both can go for an evening stroll.
Kitchen
I would want a fitted modern and modular kitchen with lots of storage area and shelves. Modern cabinetry and an uncomplicated layout is something I wish for. Also, it would be great to have an open kitchen with a dining space.
Amenities
Routine work life can be stressful. Hence, to lead an active and healthy life, amenities like a fully equipped gym, clubhouse, swimming pool, kids play area, jogging track, yoga and meditation room is an added advantage to a modern villa. Other essentials amenities like 24-hour water supply, power back-up, parking space, a proper drainage system add significantly to a well-designed modern home. Facilities like CCTV’s is a great option for security. For a delightful stay, location is a crucial aspect for me. I would like to live in a place which is in close proximity to the city’s landmarks.
